Full-spectrum doula &
perinatal yoga instructor
Hi there! My name is Natalie, and my goal as a birth-worker is to support you in feeling safe, connected, and empowered throughout your pregnancy, birthing experience and beyond. I utilize evidence-based tools and strategies to provide the full breadth of knowledge around reproductive health, but ultimately I celebrate the fact that you know your body best! You are your own guide, and I’m here to support and hold the space. I utilize mindfulness and somatic exercises to help people connect more deeply to their bodies, preparing them for labor and birth in a truly nourishing way. I hope to join your journey through this magnificent transition!
Working with me could involve getting physical, emotional, and educational support in the following …
Fertility + Conception
As a doula and integrative health coach, I can offer resources and education on cycle tracking + fertility awareness, optimal nutrition, support in making lifestyle changes, and navigating the physical, mental, and emotional journey of conception and pregnancy, no matter the method.
Structure: available on an hourly basis or flat-fee term.
Labor & Birth
I support you and your partner(s)/family by discussing and developing birth preferences, providing resources and education on birthing options and stages of labor, teaching and assisting you with comfort techniques, and providing physical, mental, and emotional support during your labor and birth.
Structure: Flat-fee term includes two prenatal visits (1-2 hours each), support during labor and delivery, one postpartum visit (1-2 hours).
Postpartum
I support you in processing your birthing experience, getting acquainted with newborn care (swaddling, feeding, soothing, etc.) providing resource referrals, and assisting with light housekeeping & newborn care needs.
Structure: available on an hourly basis or flat-fee term.
Yoga (perinatal + everyone)
As a seasoned practicer and teacher, I love supporting individuals connect their bodies and minds through yoga and gentle movement. I have seen this practice work wonders in the prenatal period to help prepare body + mind for labor and delivery, as well as the postpartum period to heal emotionally and physically. As a birth doula, I offer many yoga positions during labor, so I always find it helpful to practice beforehand and get your body comfortable with the movements. All levels and abilities are welcomed and honored.
Structure: available on an hourly basis and can be added on to any doula support package as well. Also offered to non pregnant or postpartum folks!

As a pregnancy-focused chiropractor, labor support doula, and host of the Informed Pregnancy Podcast, I have had the pleasure of working with many outstanding birth professionals. Among them, Natalie Pulvino stands out. During her time at my Los Angeles perinatal wellness center, Natalie demonstrated a refreshing combination of academic knowledge and practical wisdom. Her kindness, compassion, and extensive expertise were consistently evident, earning her the highest praise from both our employees and clients. I have referred many clients to her for prenatal yoga, and each one has thanked me profusely for the recommendation. Natalie’s ability to connect with and support expectant mothers is truly remarkable. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with her is very fortunate. She is an invaluable asset to the birth community.

As a former yoga client, it is a privilege to share my experience with Natalie Pulvino. Her skill level and abilities reach beyond what I ever expected. She effortlessly curated each session to my personal goals, as well as modified every movement for my body and capabilities. What I loved most about working with Natalie was her calming energy, she can beautifully hold space for her client making them feel safe and seen. She is a gifted practitioner. I believe anyone who works with Natalie is in good hands. She values her clients needs over all else and understands the responsibility that come with that.

Natalie has helped me for years with my yoga and mindfulness practice, in many stages of life. Postpartum, grief, general well-being, and now another pregnancy. She became an integral part of my life and greatly improved how my body feels day-to-day (no aches and pains!), my nervous system and my sleep. Natalie has the most calming way about her and I always look forward to our sessions. She really understands the body and offers me wonderful suggestions on how to improve my practice. I never enjoyed yoga before I met Natalie. She is one in a billion and I adore her! She is so talented.

My goal is for you to feel safe, heard, and respected…
Through my support, I hope that you may feel affirmed and empowered during your pregnancy and birthing experience, and to feel like you have the tools to make informed decisions. I will provide you with compassionate, multi-disciplinary, and evidence-based support to optimize your health and wellbeing during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I acknowledge and celebrate the multitude of backgrounds, identities, and preferences of birthing people and prioritize respect, autonomy, and inclusion as the pillars of my practice.
My toolkit is built from a multi-disciplinary background…
I have spent over 4 years teaching individuals to connect to their bodies and minds through teaching yoga and integrating tools learned as a health coach. During this time, I obtained a master’s in public health from UCLA, with a concentration in reproductive and perinatal health. My education has equipped me with an astute understanding of how our healthcare system works, as well as the systemic influences which shape health outcomes and inequities. This has prepared me to bring a unique perspective and skillset to act as an advocate for my clients in a multitude of settings.
But aside from my education & experiences…
I am a warm and grounding individual who is passionate about supporting peoples' pregnancy and birthing experiences in an effort to promote reproductive justice. I’ve lived all across the country and feel totally lit up by the mountains and being out in nature. As often as I can, I’m hiking, backpacking, and outdoor-adventuring with my partner and dog. I’m creative at heart and love cooking, making art, reading books, and listening to music. Some of my favorite self-care tools are mindfulness meditation, running, and drawing a hot bubble bath!
